Kids Museum 2009

On Day 2 of our mini-vacation we went to the Children's Museum. After the Children's Museum we went to the Clark Planetarium and checked out the cool space stuff, then we watched a 3D Imax movie, I think it was called "Under the Sea" or something like that. Hayley, her friend Camilla and her little boy came to the museum with us.

Aquarium, August 2009

We went on a mini-vacation the weekend before school started. My mom, my cousin Holly and her kids joined us for the aquarium portion of our vacation.

Swimming Lessons

Noah has been taking swimming lessons for the past week. I got to take him on Thursday and Friday because I had those days off. It was fun to play Stay-at-Home Mom and have the opportunity to do something like that.

Independence Day 2009

We had a fun 4th here. Noah rode his bike in the children's bike parade on the 3rd and then rode on his daycare's float in the main parade. Just in case you were wondering if I had any tips for decorating a helmet for a bike parade, I DO! It involves taping two flags to either side of a sponge bob helmet with some generic tape!
p.s. Noah is the masked man on the float a.k.a. La Luchador!!!! Ole!

Camping - June 2009

We went camping earlier this month with my neighbor and her son. The boys had so much fun running around, getting filthy, and swimming in the creek. Sara and I were left wondering how or why our parents ever took us camping. It is such a production! We did have fun and probably (just like our parents) will take them camping again.
