Opie

Okay, I have a little problem with internet shopping. I just really love to have a little present arrive at my door. I know this must be a problem because Noah has said he wants to be a box delivery guy (aka ups driver) when he grows up. Now, being a u.p.s. driver in and of itself is not a bad thing it is just that he is known as the 'box delivery guy' and not the 'truck driver guy'. I ordered myself a kite from a place called www.intothewind.com. I ordered the 'Opie the Octopus' kite because it said it was good for beginners. It is really cute and orange and is a fun kite to fly. I took it up to my dad's this weekend and the wind is always blowing in Delta so I got to fly it. I was really surprised because the only other kites I've flown were just cheap ones and you had to run to even get them going a little bit before they took a nosedive into the ground and broke. With this little kite, all you have to do is let it go and the wind just picks it up and it flies.

Rock On

Earlier this month we went up to visit my sis Erin and bro-in-law Trevor. We went out to dinner and saw their new apartment. I took some pictures of them and some of Erin and Noah. I do believe Erin and Trevor can be credited with teaching Noah the 'rock on' sign.

Please don't let your house stink

So, I have decided to become a sales consultant for a company called SCENTSY. They make these really great 'wickless' candles. Please check out my website www.scentsy.com/sarahcross and if you like what you see and want to host a party let me know. Just order from me so I can be a bazillionare and never have to work again. Geez.

I've been tagged

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
Probably sluffing school and then hanging out with my best friend Jessica doing things we thought were absolutely hilarious.

2. Five things to do today?
Well it is 7 in the evening but I still have at least five things to do.
1. Throw my clothes in the dryer.
2. Give Noah a bath.
3. Pick up the house as much as possible.
4. Put Noah to bed and pray he stays there.
5. Watch a documentary about 'outsider artist' Henry Darger. I saw an exhibition of his work a few years ago at the American Folk Art Museum and just got this doc on my netflix. If any of you have seen the movie Junebug the art is very similar.

3. What snacks do I enjoy?
There are so many. I love red vines and cake batter ice cream from cold stone.

4. What would I do if I were suddenly a billionare?
I would give a lump sum to my siblings for them to do whatever with. I would host a FABULOUS family reunion yearly. I would buy several lovely homes and hire a nanny so I could sip margarita's by the pool and hang out with the handsome new pool boy.

5.Three bad habits?
I am too quick to anger.
I judge too harshly.
I eat too much.

6.Five jobs I've had?
Heavy Construction Equipment Operator
Hospital Registrar
Optician
Sales associate @ JCPenney
Waitress at the finest restaurant in Delta.

7.Five things people don't know about me?
I think being a mom is the hardest thing I've ever done.
I love jerky
I was in the National Guard
I hate emails that say "this really happened" and you know it is completely fake.
I used to be a 8 1/2 shoe size and after I had Noah I am a 9 1/2 wide.

Leap

Today Noah and I had some surprise visitors at our door. It was Hayley and her friend Brittany! I heard the doorbell ring and looked out the peep-hole and there they were! We were so excited to see them. I haven't seen Brit in quite a while and am happy she came. She has such a great energy about her and is just like a little sister to me. They ran around in the back yard with Noah for a while and burned a little bit of his energy.
