Blue Ribbon

A very nice family friend, Sam Wardle, entered a rabbit in the County Fair for Noah. The rabbit won a blue ribbon! Noah got to keep the blue ribbon and the prize money. He was very excited and promptly bought a four-wheeler toy with his 3 dollars.

Pre-school

Today was Noah's very first day of Pre-school. He is now a DNES Busy Bee! He was a little nervous going in the doors, but when we got in his class room and met his teacher he loosened up a little. I was taking a picture of him and before I know it another little boy sidles up to him, puts his arm around Noah and I thought 'what the heck', and took a picture of them both. When I put the camera down the little feller (Wyatt, judging by his name tag) said "My dad told me to make new friends". It was so stinking cute! Then another little boy handed Noah a toy and then I, and his nervousness, were completely forgotten about. When I picked him up and got him in the car he had a weird look on his face, so I asked him what was wrong and he said "I'm just so happy". Hooray for school!
p.s. Guess what they had in his classroom? A KIVA!!!! booyah!

Delta 4th

Here are a few pictures from this years Independence Day spectacular in Delta. We had a fun time at the parade. Noah was really excited that 'Herbie', or 'Turbie' as Noah calls him was at the parade and even more excited that Turbie was at the Demolition Derby! Yeah Baby!

Delta

Hello family and friends,
I just wanted to do a quick post and let everyone know that Noah and I have moved to Delta. I started my new job this week and Noah started going to a new daycare. Honestly, it has been a pretty rough week for us, but, things should get better as we adjust to our new life and schedule. I got a job at Intermountain Power Project out here in delta and it is a really great opportunity for me to be self sufficient and for Noah to be near his Grandpa and have a male influence in his life. I am so appreciative of my mother helping us out for the past five years and will never be able to repay her. I really miss her right now and am sure I will only miss her more but when I have a little money in my pocket and gas prices go down a bit (ha, ha) we will get to visit her.
Love you all. I will post later when I get a chance. Peace out.

Booger Balls

So, how is it that people are born with the innate ability to make booger balls. I mean, I will catch Noah picking his nose and then immediately rolling it between his fingers to create the booger ball. No one taught him that, he just.....knew. I am such a proud parent.
